11/11/24- More & More

Do you ever feel like there is just too much to do and not enough time?

I do believe this is the way of the world. So much to do, so little time. How we spend our time and focus impacts what we are able to complete and how efficiently we are able to do our work. God does want us to give Him time every day. It has amazed me for years that when I do spend time with Him, He seems to expand my time and my productivity.

While preparing to move my youngest across country via airplane, I found myself spinning and unable sit still for long. Making lists and checking off details was important to me. Unfortunately, my son did not have the same concerns. My experience in planning was implemented to help his transition and our pockets.

Many times in life we need help from mentors and guidance from those who are experienced and seasoned. What a blessing to have someone who willingly helps and assists in times of need. Spending time with God is His way of helping us in our busy times, often quieting our minds and thoughts.

Life picks up pretty quickly as each one of us start to navigate his or her own life. Life requires us to be responsible and disciplined to succeed. God reminds us that life offers many different times with many different experiences that we will encounter and endure.

How appropriate that God would want some of our time in a day. He does make everything beautiful in its time and for all those who love Him.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1- 8

"There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity

under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time

to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to

refrain from embracing,

a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for

peace."

Ecclesiastes 3: 11

"He has made everything beautiful

in its time.

He has also set eternity

in the human heart;

yet no one can fathom

what God has done

from beginning to end."
