11/14/24- Adam & Atom

Do you ever think about the atom and Adam?

Is it coincidental that these two words and identifications associated with these; nouns, person, and creations; are so commonly linked to each other? The Adam and atom form the basis of life. Adam was the first man, and by understanding creation, we know that each and everyone of us can be linked back to his make up. Interestingly enough, the atom is the basic unit of matter, which makes up everything in the universe apart from energy.

The chemical compounds in both the atom and Adam allow them to function as what and who each of these components are. Without the chemical component, neither would be a thing. All things must work together for good to be attained.

The human body contains between 30 to 40 trillion cells. The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of all forms of life. This is a hard concept to grasp. Not only that, each cell is made up of many minute functioning properties, such as nucleus, protons, and electrons. These same components are found in atoms and all living cells. Most of us are familiar with the components of a cell as most of us had to make a model of a cell at some time or another for school. Thankfully there are some aspects of our cells that align.

Scientists have discovered that there are aspects of the human cells that are transferrable and can sustain life and heal many diseases. The genius of these individuals is a gift to so many. The genius and dedication of those who administer the treatments, our doctors and nurses, is also a gift to those who need healing. God understood that humans would continue to strive and evolve. It is in our DNA.

Life can be traced to Adam and to the smallest possible building block of all creatures. The atom, as the basic unit of matter, can integrate massive majestic structures that are awe inspiring. It is so important to stop and soak in the magnificence from time to time. Make sure you slow down and appreciate the grandiosity of life that surrounds you this week.

This has been a big week for our family, very thankful for all that is moving in the right direction. Praying for protection over all loved ones who are entering new situations and experiencing big life changes. May we all proceed with caution, with faith and confidence in the One who is in control of all outcomes. He does call us to be wise with our decisions and choices.

Romans 8:28

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
