Think about it, are you fighting to be heard or are you willing to listen? We are born and raised with survival instincts, which help us live longer. However, there is a time when we all must learn to release focus on self and be present for others and find silence with our Maker.
There is preservation in silence. No one longs to be alone. And no one thrives walking alone. Although it is important to restore our mind and body and reconnect with God in silence.
The beauty is that we are never truly alone. Our God promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5, Joshua 1:5, 2 Kings 1:16, ) If we turn to Him, He will light the way for every single one of our footsteps. Nobody on earth is able to do this for us. This again requires trust and faith.
There is a time in life, when every one of us must practice and learn to be present with others. If this is not practiced and learned, we will miss the opportunity to learn to love properly. Love is sacrifice, and is learned in order to love others well. Just like anything in life, it takes practice to put others first, before our own wants and desires. This helps build a foundation for love and companionship, a true gift. However, we must not forget to honor God first.
From the beginning, Isaiah longed for others to hear what God had planned. Isaiah was a true servant of God. For a while, Isaiah believed his servitude and sacrifice was unrecognized. However, he was reminded that God had been his strength all along.
Isaiah was never alone in his efforts to inform others of God's plan to reunite all of His loved ones for eternity. God placed a huge request and role on Isaiah's shoulders, because He longed for everyone to receive salvation.
We all are called to do our part to spread the love of God. This starts with the basics of learning to love well, and put others needs first sometimes. God desires for all of us to be reunited with Him for eternity. He wants us in the presence of true sacrificial love, forever. God needs to have the last word.
Isaiah 49: 5- 6
"And now the Lord says---
he who formed me in the womb to be His servant
to bring Jacob back to Him and gather Israel to Himself,
for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord
and my God has been my strength---
He says:
'It is too small a thing for you to be my servant
to restore the tribes of Jacob
and bring back those of Israel I have kept.
I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.'"
