Do you strive to seek the truth?
With more and more advances in technology, it is getting harder and harder to determine if something is true or not. AI has been gathering information for years and is allowing computers to impersonate humans. The data bank has stored up our fingerprints, our eye/face recognition and our voices. Computers are gaining knowledge. We need to know the source or ask the right questions to gain the truth in some circumstances.
I was sitting with friends this weekend and heard a story of an AI, computer generated transfer of billions of dollars that one commander at a company pulled off. AI had made it seem as though several individuals were involved in a decision to transfer a large sum of funding via wireless transfer. There was only one human present in the meeting allowing this transaction to take place. The other voices had been actual voices of the people who were supposedly present, but in actuality they were AI generated from existing recordings of the voices.
This is an example of what corruption looks like in our society. And it is creating paranoia and insecurity in humans and leading us away from the truth. We are called to know the source of truth and gain insight and understanding of the truth.
My daughter called yesterday morning to talk, and I had actually slept in til 9:45a, not sure the last time that has happened. I texted her and said I had just woken up and would call her soon. When we did talk, she said she saw that my locater on my phone had been on when she called. She thought I was up and not answering her call. That puzzled me as I was not on my phone, and not sure why my phone indicated that I was. Thankfully she said something to me about this. She didn't appear paranoid, but just voiced it to me. This allowed me to reveal to her the truth.
So many times our friends and others don't have the courage to address something that they believe which is actually false or not true. God commands us not to lie, because it leads to corruption. We need to dig now more than ever to gain the truth and understanding and not let it impact healthy relationships and cause us to be robbed of goodness.
The Adversary wants us to doubt in our relationships and our financials. He wants to keep us on edge and in a place of fear and doubt and despair. God does not want us to fear. He wants us to pray and rely on Him. The truth is that we will take nothing with us when we depart this earth. We even leave behind our bodies. Only our souls depart and are reunited with our Creator.
John 14: 6- 7
"Jesus said to him,
'I am
the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
If you had known Me,
you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him
and have seen Him.'"
