7/22/24- Mountains to Climb

Updated: Jul 23

Has daily life ever appeared as a mountain that looked impossible to climb?

How you rise up from a misstep is a sign of where you lay your trust. Life is full of situations that we must learn to navigate. However, these situations do not have to resemble mountains to climb.

God made us tough and resilient. He knew that we would face challenges on a daily basis. The challenges we face in this life time look a whole lot different than just 100 to 150 years ago. A family is no longer responsible for hunting, foraging, and growing their own food. This would be a daily challenge that all faced 100 years ago. The thought of not being able to provide food for my small children seems daunting to me in this day and age. However, we can become complacent in our state of plenty.

The result of complacency is spoiling a child or meeting all his or her needs as a parent. The result of this process can leave an individual weak and unable to accomplish even the necessary steps he or she must perform in a day. God made each and every one of us to be fighters. We have to continue to be brave and bold and move forward toward His calling for each and every one of us in this lifetime.

All individuals must continue to encourage and support others who are fighting the good fight. I hope you strive to push through the uncomfortable situations you are presented with every day. I hope that you will trust that God is walking with you through the uncomfortable situations. And I hope that you continue to push and never give up. As you learn to trust in God, your mountains will start to resemble small bumps and curves that you will learn to dodge and straighten yourself more quickly, the more faith you build up. The beauty will be revealed throughout your climb, as a job well done.

Phillipians 1: 6

"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
