In a world where even Google can't explain why we sneeze when looking at the sun, it's safe to say that no single soul holds all the answers! God intentionally made us this way. He acknowledges that our egos play a role in our functionality. Nevertheless, He cautions against excessive self-assurance, as it can lead to downfall. He expects us to seek guidance from Him and work together with others in making decisions.
The Importance of Individual Contribution in Group Decision-Making
While a leader is essential for coordinating groups and executing tasks, it is crucial for all individuals to actively participate in reaching the best possible option for the group. Each person's unique perspective, skills, and insights can contribute to the overall decision-making process and lead to more well-rounded and effective outcomes.
The Importance of Relying on God in Decision-Making
When it comes to making decisions that have a significant impact on a nation, it is crucial to have God, who is righteous, at the center of the collaborative group. It is acknowledged that no human is inherently righteous, with Jesus being the only man to walk this earth in righteousness. Even Jesus, in His righteousness, did not claim to have all the answers. He often used parables to convey his messages, understanding the stubborn nature of humans who are reluctant to heed advice.
Humans tend to rely on their own understanding and insights to reach conclusions, even when influenced by a higher power. However, recognizing the importance of God's righteousness can lead to more informed and morally sound decisions when navigating the complexities of national matters.
Luke 22: 28- 30
“But you are those who have continued with Me in my trials. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
