8/29/24- Perseverance

Why do we need to be able to persevere?

Just as the sun rises and sun sets every single day, we must also rise and labor and then lay our heads to rest. Life is continuous, and sometimes it feels like we are on a gerble wheel. Even though the years go quickly, the days can sometimes drag on and feel repetitive.

All of the above is a good reminder to establish your purpose. Live a life with intention and purpose. At the heart of the focus is best to keep love on the radar with crystal clear vision. Love can be the ultimate purpose, which requires the guidance from God above and His Son who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Jesus had one main purpose in His life. That purpose was to give His life and cover all human sin in the process. During His daily walk, He loved well. He provided guidance to those who would listen. However, He never gave all the answers directly. He spoke instead in parables, because humans are so stubborn that they don’t want to be told how to live. Our egos require us to figure it out ourselves. If only, all humans could see with clarity our ultimate purpose for these mundane daily walks.

Life is much richer for those who walk with God daily. Life is fuller. Life is complete. Jesus gave willingly while He walked this earth. He longed for people to believe, performing countless miracles throughout His time on earth.

Those who were broken, and He restored, shared their miracles with joy and thanksgiving to those they encountered. However, those who could not relate to the immense desire and need these individuals carried with them daily, could not relate or understand their complete elation and joy from receiving His miracles. This is still visible in the world we walk in today.

Even if God doesn’t grant you the miracle you ask and plead for, do you not see that He is using your life and situation? God has given your life purpose. You are called to walk in love daily from the place in your life where God has places you. No matter your struggles. No matter your circumstances. No matter your limitations. You are called to walk in love, daily.

I challenge you to seek your purpose today. God calls us to be His eyes, His ears and His mouth, so that all will benefit and come to know His complete love. He longs for each and every one of us, His children, to know and feel His love.

Go love well!

John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.“
